What is a realistic budget for a 100 person wedding in Wollongong?

"For a typical wedding held at a 3 to 3 ½ star function venue you would be looking at $7000 to $8000 for 100pax for catering and room hire. Catering is the most expensive part of the wedding however you can bring down that cost if you choose to have a buffet, cocktail party or even a lunch time reception.

Including invitations, bomboniere, decorations (chair covers and sashes), table centre pieces, room canopy (if required), wedding cake to feed 100pax (you can serve this as dessert to bring the cost down again) you would be looking at $100 per person, which should cover the costs of all your guests.

All other costs which do not impact on how many guests you have, include; rings, bridal party attire, wedding dress, groom’s suit, photography, videographer, church/chapel (not usually free), honeymoon, transport, hair and makeup." The Mark Agency Events
